Direct Therapy Services

We provide home, community based, and clinic-based therapy services that include parent support sessions as part of our program. We support the use of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) which embeds applied behavior analysis into natural activities, daily routines, with shared control between the therapist and the child, as well as the use of natural consequences. We believe motivation and assent are important at any age.

Early Intervention Program

Our early intervention program uses the group Early Start Denver Model. The program is designed to provide both 1:1 learning as well as time spent learning in group activities. Our goal is to prepare children in our program for the transition to school by teaching them to navigate daily routines and to participate successfully in group learning activities.

Early Intervention Parent Coaching Program

This program is led by a behavior analyst who is also ESDM certified and has been trained to implement the ESDM parent coaching program. This program is designed to empower parents with strategies that promote social and language development across everyday activities and experiences. The program provides an individualized assessment to meet both the child and family’s needs.

Parent Support

We offer two forms of parent support: Topical skills based training as well as individualized parent training. Individualized training focuses on the generalization of skills the child is learning as well as supporting the family's day to day needs in both home and community settings.  Please inquire about our parent training curriculums.

Social Skills Groups

Our Plus One Program utilizes evidence-based social skills curriculums and applied behavior analysis to teach social skills necessary to the development of prosocial behaviors and interpersonal relationships.

Parent Education Series

Throughout the year we offer a series of trainings specific to current parent interests and needs as well as ongoing IEP and School Support. As part of our effort to share resources with the community we offer a series of free parent training sessions in November to celebrate National Family Caregivers month.

IFSP/IEP

As children progress throughout their education, support is provided at the family’s request to promote continuity of care across settings. We support and facilitate as they transition from private services to services within an educational setting.

Coordination of Care

Consistency of care across providers and family members is an important but often overlooked element.  Not only do children with autism tend to thrive on familiarity and consistency, families feel empowered when intervention tools and approaches are the same across providers when possible. Treatment goals are most likely to be achieved when there is a shared understanding and coordination among all healthcare providers and professionals.
